I admit it...I'm a Chinese drama fan, but besides binging the occasional drama, here are some organizations/activities I've started/am a part of and what we've done!

Sortify: Founder + Leader
Awarded the President's Environmental Youth Award (PEYA) by the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the US Environmental Protection Agency for implementation of sorting and composting program.

Pasadena 100: Organizers Committee Member
Youngest Member of PASADENA100's Organizing Committee. Advocated by speaking at rallies, city council meetings, and writing Op-Eds to pass Resolution 9977, committing Pasadena to 100% carbon-free energy by 2030.

Los Angeles Climate Week: Youth Programming Leader
Selected to serve on Los Angeles Climate Week's Youth Programming Group, helping plan events such as the NextGen Climate Policy Summit, which connected hundreds of high school and college students with nationally and locally recognized figures in climate policy. Collaborated with leaders such as White House Environmental Justice Advisor Jerome Foster, Sierra Club President Patrick Murphy, Los Angeles Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, and Los Angeles Chief Sustainability Office Sustainability Policy Advisor Victoria Simon to draft real climate policies for future consideration.

Youth Climate Action Network (YCAN): Co-founder + Co-leader
Co-founded the Youth Climate Action Network, a committee under the Climate Reality Project, an organization with 4.5 million global members, to connect 100+ student youth leaders across Southern California, holding meetings in collaboration with collaborating with organizations such as the SGA Marketing, TRAA (Torrance Refinery Action Alliance), and others to strengthen relationships between schools, spread initiatives, and highlight career paths in climate for passionate youth.

American Women for International Understanding: Passport to the Future Intern
Selected for two internship cycles to collaborate internationally with schools such as Rwanda Children in Rwanda on climate initiatives, self-produced video to help Rwanda Children gain funding visibility with NGOs, and presented two capstone presentations on international climate action

Climate Coalition: Co-founder + Co-leader
Co-founded my high school's Climate Coalition, comprised of more than 25% our student body, which leads several climate initiatives including sorting and composting, clean energy (solar installation), and rewilding at my school

An avid orator, participating in Original Oratory and Declamation, ranked No 2. in the Nation in Original Oratory and No 1. in California in both Original Oratory and Declamation.

Selected to serve on Student Leadership Committee for climate summit for schools across Southern California, organized and facilitated a panel of global climate experts in architecture, finance, and transportation.
